ABOUT

BRIDGE R&P

OUR STORY

CREATED BY ATHLETES FOR ATHLETES.

As athletes ourselves we have experienced the pros and cons of the current healthcare model. It is excellent for certain populations, but for those with performance-driven goals, it tends to leave them hanging.

Many clinics are great at getting people out of pain. However, we learned that sometimes this is where the benefits end.

For athletes, this can be disappointing. You’ve just had a season-ending injury or setback and may be slowly moving out of pain. However, you then realize you are still feeling weak, unstable, achy with power movements, and just not as athletic as you used to be.

THIS IS WHERE THE BRIDGE R&P MODEL STEPS UP TO THE PLATE.

At Bridge R&P our goal is to not only take a holistic approach to injury recovery but to set in place injury prevention, performance rehabilitation, and leaving you feeling you can pick up right where you left off.

We start by assessing where you are in the Bridge System. This is done by analyzing where you are with your injury, the symptoms you are experiencing, and how you are performing. We then develop a custom plan to expedite your recovery and help you achieve your performance goals.

At Bridge, we provide a range of services with performance as their main focus. We also work with holistic practices so you can avoid excessive medications, surgeries, and other treatments that keep you away from training.

BEGIN YOUR JOURNEY BACK TO PEAK PERFORMANCE TODAY.

MY PASSION IS HELPING PEOPLE UNLOCK THEIR BEST SELF

I strive to support my clients’ return to adventure, enhance their athletic performance, reduce injury risk, and bounce back faster from aches, pains, and soreness. All without having to rely on excessive medications or surgery.

Like many of my clients, I am an avid runner, traveler, and go-getter. I do not like being slowed down by pain or weakness. I studied Kinesiology at Miami University and received my Doctorate in Physical Therapy at The Ohio State University. I also participated in countless hours of self-study to learn how to help people ease pain, recover faster, and live the longest most fruitful life possible.

As a double PK (pastor’s kid), I appreciate the unique gifts we are granted which are best expressed when we have a healthy body, mind, and spirit.

This carries over into how I care for each of my clients. Instead of stopping at the bare minimum and leaving patients susceptible to future injuries and discomfort, Bridge R&P takes a custom approach.

YOUR PHYSICAL CAPACITY IS THE KEY THAT UNLOCKS MANY OF THE WORLD’S GREATEST TREASURES

One of the most important gifts you can give your future self is the ability to perform the activities that bring you the most joy and satisfaction – without physical impediment. With consistent physical and mental challenges, we allow ourselves to live wholly in our bodies to pursue the activities that bring us joy. As a performance specialist, I strive to advance those working toward peak human performance and those seeking to break physical and mental barriers.

I grew up in Bay Village, participating in swimming, soccer, triathlon, and track and field. I’ve trained and coached various populations and skill levels, from community youth and wounded veterans to elite high school and collegiate athletes at Spire Institute & Academy. At Denison University, I was a member of the 2019 NCAA swimming championship team. The same year, I committed to triathlon, and for the past three years, I have qualified for Team USA Age Group World Championship teams, allowing me to travel abroad and compete. As a trainer & coach, educator, and athlete, I seek to meet people where they are in their fitness journey and support them in reaching their goals.

PHYSICAL THERAPIST

EMILY SOLTES, PT, DPT

I SPENT A LOT OF TIME IN PT MYSELF, AND IT IGNITED A PASSION IN ME TO HELP SOMEDAY OTHERS GET BACK INTO THEIR SPORT/HOBBY WITHOUT PAIN OR LIMITATIONS SLOWING THEM DOWN

I grew up as a competitive soccer player and played at the collegiate level at Northern Kentucky University, experiencing many injuries (3 ACL surgeries, to be exact) throughout my career. I spent a lot of time in PT and it ignited a passion in me to someday help others get back into their sport/hobby without pain or limitations slowing them down.

I graduated with my Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Cleveland State University in 2023. I’ve had 3 full-time clinical rotations in the outpatient orthopedic setting, two in sport-specific clinics helping athletes and active people get back to the sports/activities that they love. I have a passion for working with athletes and those with performance-driven goals, which makes BridgeR&P the perfect fit.

In my spare time, I enjoy running, hiking (especially in the mountains), and traveling. I love exploring the world from my own two feet and believe our bodies are capable of big and great things – especially when we put the effort into taking care of them!
